The STRIDER World Championships Are About More Than Racing!

After two days focused on STRIDER Racing it’s going to be time to rest and relax…Sunday (10/14) is going to be the perfect day for both!

We’ll start the day playing at Lido beach right behind The Helmsley Sandcastle (host hotel).  Ride on the beach, Swim, bury Mom and Dad in the sand, and see how far you can coast into the ocean on your STRIDER!

At 11:00 am we’ll gather on the beach for a STRIDER Surf Beach Parade! At 11:30 the STRIDER bike toss is the perfect chance for the bigger kids (aka Mom and Dad) to show off their muscles. Whoever throws the STRIDER bike the farthest gets…BRAGGING RIGHTS for an entire year!

Between 4:00pm and 6:00pm we’ll have trolley’s heading to Payne Park. This is a local STRIDER rider favorite with an amazing new playground, grassy hills, and a challenging skate park there’s sure to be something for everybody.

At 6:00 we’re heading downtown for a STRIDER stroll and Dinner. The trolleys will be picking up STRIDER families at the corner or Lemon and Main St from 8:00 to 9:00pm.
