The Color Run to Add Toddler Strider® Adventure Zone to Finish Festival
Rapid City, SD (March 22, 2017) — Strider Bikes, the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of children’s no-pedal balance bikes, is pleased to announce it is participating in The Color Run in Dallas, Texas March 25th, with a Strider Adventure Zone for toddlers. The Strider activation in the fun and colorful Finish Festival will include a Strider Adventure Zone (ride and play area) where children as young as 18 months can learn to balance and ride on pedal-less Strider Bikes. Advanced Strider riders are welcome to bring their Strider Bikes and join Mom or Dad in the “Happiest 5K on the Planet”.
“We are happy to partner with a company whose mission celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. At Strider, we are passionate about inspiring riding and adventure in children. This is a perfect fit!” said Ryan McFarland, Founder and Chief Enthusiast of Strider Sports. “And those kids are going to love being splattered in color!”
The Adventure Zone gives kids 18 months to five years old a chance to test ride a Strider Balance Bike, play with other kids, and develop balance and coordination in a custom designed area. This safe and friendly environment encourages kids to explore mobility on two wheels and experience the challenge and thrill of riding a Strider on unique terrains and obstacles. The Free Strider Adventure Zone will be located in the Finish Festival of the race taking place at Dallas Fair Park, 1818 First Avenue. It will open at 8 a.m. for kids from 18 months to 5 years old, and there will be demo bikes and helmets on site for families who don’t have their own Strider Bike. No previous experience required.
